E1 — Upper zone sensor fault
Upper zone temperature sensor reading incorrectly. The zone may overcool, undercool, or fluctuate. Check displayed temperature vs. a standalone thermometer. Reset power — if E1 returns, sensor needs replacement.
E2 — Lower zone sensor fault
Same as E1 but for the lower zone. Same diagnosis and repair procedure.
E3 — Compressor thermal overload
The compressor has overheated and shut down for protection. Clean the condenser coils. Ensure adequate ventilation around the cooler. Wait 30 minutes for the overload to reset. If E3 recurs, the condenser fan, start relay, or compressor itself may need service.
E4 — Evaporator fan failure
Internal circulation fan not running. Temperature will be uneven between zones and shelves. Fan motor bearing failure or blade obstruction. Wine bottles should be temporarily relocated during repair.
E5 — Door open alarm
Door open too long or gasket not sealing. UV-protective glass and temperature stability are compromised with the door open. Check for bottle necks preventing full closure. Inspect gasket for tears or compression loss.
