E1 — Harvest cycle failure
Ice formed but couldn’t be released from the evaporator plate. Check the bin (overfull?), reset power. If persistent, the harvest motor or thermostat needs service.
E2 — Water fill failure
No water detected during fill cycle. Check supply valve, water filter, and line for kinks. Most common fix: replace a clogged water filter.
E3 — Compressor fault
Compressor not running or not cooling adequately. Listen for clicking (start relay issue). Check circuit breaker. Professional diagnosis required — sealed system work.
E4 — Bin sensor fault
Level sensor not detecting ice correctly. Clean the sensor area — frost or debris blocks the infrared sensor. If cleaning doesn’t fix it, sensor needs replacement.
E5 — Water leak detected
Water in the base pan. Shut off the ice maker and water supply immediately. Check all connections for leaks. Do not operate until the leak source is found and repaired.
E6 — Filter replacement
Timer-based reminder — not a fault. Replace the water filter and reset the indicator (press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds).
